About the eyeInspect API Guide

 

This guide describes the APIs available for eyeInspect users to remotely:

  • fetch information stored in the system
  • monitor and manage some of the capabilities of eyeInspect

Note: The eyeInspect API guide is applicable to:
  • eyeInspect versions 5.5.0, 5.9 and 5.11
  • Edge Collector versions 24.1.1, 24.3, 25.1.1, 25.2.1

Access the eyeInspect API

  • The API is based on a RESTful Web API using JSON
  • The API is accessible from the eyeInspect Command Center (CC) web interface on port 443 over HTTPS
  • Supported authentication method: basic authentication
  • Root URL of the API: /api/v1
