Update the Operational Technology Vulnerability Database

Use this guide to install periodic updates of the Operational Technology Vulnerability Database used by Passive Sensors to monitor endpoints. Updating the Operational Technology Vulnerability Database also updates parameter values for the OT Vulnerability host property.

Before starting, download the latest eyeInspect Vulnerability and IoC Update file from the Forescout Support Portal.

To update the Operational Technology Vulnerability Database:

  1. Open a browser and navigate to the server that hosts the Command Center you need to update.
  2. The Login screen appears. Log in using admin-level credentials.
  3. From the top level nav bar, select SETTINGS > System Settings. The Command Center settings screen appears.
  4. In the RISKS AND EVENTS CUSTOMIZATION tile, select CVEs and IoCs. The CVEs and IoCs screen opens.
    1. Click Import from the secondary navigation bar.
    2. Click BROWSE... and select the eyeInspect Vulnerability and IoC Update zip file from your local machine.
    3. Click UPLOAD to import the database updates into the Command Center.
  5. Click Finish.
