The legacy customization tool

Customize the interface eyeSight presents on PCs and laptops for the end-user interactions of HTTP actions, SecureConnector installation, and other features.

The Legacy Customization tool lets you configure the user interface used for the following end-user interactions.

  • Start SecureConnector
  • HTTP Localhost Login
  • Start Macintosh Updates
  • Start Windows Updates
  • Windows Self Remediation
  • Compliance Center

From the Console toolbar select Tools > Options > NAC > HTTP Redirection > Open Legacy Customization Tool. A table lists all customized templates. A default template is provided.

The following icons indicate which templates are currently used by Forescout.

Template is used when Forescout Compliance Center (FCC) is enabled.

Template is used when Forescout Compliance Center (FCC) is disabled.

Template is used for all general pages.

Template is not used.

Template was published in the past.

The following actions are available.

Add
Create new template based on the default Forescout template.
Edit
Modify customized templates. You cannot modify the default Forescout template.
Duplicate
Copies an existing template.
Delete
Delete a customized template. You cannot delete the default Forescout template.
Publish
Integrate a template and use it for Forescout end user interactions.
Preview
View a sample web page formatted with the template.
Export
Save a custom template to external systems, such as backup servers in Web Developer mode.
Import
Imports a custom template from external systems, such as backup servers in Web Developer mode.
