Move a Forescout virtual device to a new server

 

You can move a Forescout virtual device to a new virtual server by using the Forescout backup and restore features.

To move a licensed Forescout device:

  1. Back up the Forescout virtual device:
    1. Select Options>CounterACT Devices.
    2. Select a device.
    3. Select Backup.
  2. Copy the backup file to the new virtual server.
  3. Deploy the original OVF file.
  4. Restore from the backup file.
