Set up timezone and date time format

 

The timezone must be set to GMT in the following three separate places:

Consult your vendor documentation to ensure you have the latest instructions for navigating the ServiceNow UI and configuration screens.
  1. Location 1: ServiceNow -> Organization -> Users -> "click on your user". Set the timezone to GMT according to the ServiceNow documentation.
  2. Location 2:
    1. Old UI: Settings > General. Set the timezone to GMT according to the ServiceNow documentation.
    2. New UI: Settings > Preferences > Display. Set the timezone to GMT according to the ServiceNow documentation.
  3. Location 3: ServiceNow -> Self-Service -> My Profile. Set the timezone to GMT according to the ServiceNow documentation.

The recommended date time format is

yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss
