About the Cloud Data Exchange Plugin

Please note that Cloud Data Module v1.0.4, with Cloud Data Exchange (CDE) plugin v1.0.10, is no longer available to download. We recommend upgrading to Cloud Data Module v1.0.5 or later, which includes Cloud Data Exchange plugin v1.0.12 and above.

This guide provides configuration information to enable the bi-directional sharing of asset information and risk-sharing security policies to integrate Forescout eyeSight (formerly Forescout Platform or CounterAct) host data with the Forescout Cloud services using the Cloud Data Exchange plugin.

The Cloud Data Exchange plugin allows you to augment your compliance and risk reporting in eyeSight with cloud-based retention, search, and historical analysis of your assets through data sharing with features like Forescout Timeline and other services.

This plugin allows you to take full advantage of services, including the combined benefits of 90-day data retention, improved searchability for assets' state & configuration (network, software, etc.), enhanced data analytics, and security information and event management (SIEM) integration. SIEM integration allows you to push normalized events, alerts, high-confidence threats, and compliance risks to SIEM.

Prerequisites for the Cloud Data Exchange plugin

To use the plugin you must have access to Forescout Cloud. To access https://app.command.cysiv.com/, the eyeSight requires an API key as an authorization token.
