About the Network Controller Plugin

The network controller interfaces with multiple networks for the purposes of configuring, monitoring, managing and reporting about their varied network devices.

The Network Controller plugin (NC plugin) is a component of the Forescout Network Discovery Module.

Centrally-managed network solutions use a central network controller that interfaces with multiple networks to configure, monitor, manage and report about their network devices. The central network control component can be on premise or in the product solution cloud.

To use the plugin, you should understand basic Forescout eyeSight feature functionality, including eyeSight policies. You should also understand the management concepts of the centrally managed systems in your environment.
