Operational Technology Plugin Release Notes v3.2.1
What’s New in Operational Technology Plugin v3.2.1
The following information applies to the Forescout Platform Operational Technology plugin v3.2.1.
New Features
This version of the Operational Technology Plugin introduces:
-
The ability to export eyeSight groups to eyeInspect
-
Compatibility with IPv6
Enhancements
-
Performance improvements for integration with eyeSegment:
-
Support for higher communication flows from eyeInspect.
-
Removed blockers for host property exporting
-
Added configuration capability for Apache Kafka consumer/producer parameters
-
-
The OT Sensor Name property is now hidden. Use OT Sensor Names instead
-
Source address now works as expected for Enterprise Managers exporting host properties
-
The IP Reuse Domain mapping logic between eyeSight and eyeInspect is now updated, enabling bidirectional data exchange (by using eyeInspect Data Enricher)
Fixed Issues
-
OT-1002: Fixed an issue where eyeSegment Service Details displayed only a small subset of assets for a segment instead of the full asset count. In high-volume environments, data from certain network segments was not being forwarded to eyeSight, causing the segmentation matrix to show incomplete communication results (e.g., only broadcast traffic).
-
OT-985: Fixed an issue where OT Plugin properties were not synchronized with identity changes on eyeSight managed devices. When SecureConnector-managed devices changed IP addresses via admission events, the OT Plugin could merge outdated OTSM properties from eyeInspect onto the wrong host, resulting in incorrect device classification.
