Upgrade the eyeSight-eyeInspect Integration

Based on your current eyeSight, eyeInspect Command Center and Operational Technology plugin versions, follow the appropriate order to upgrade:

eyeSight Version Command Center Version OT Plugin Version Upgrade Steps (Follow in listed order)
8.5.2, 8.5.4 5.5.x 3.1.0

  1. Upgrade eyeSight to v9.1.5

  2. Upgrade Command Center to v5.9.x or v5.11

  3. To avoid host duplication after upgrade, perform steps 1-3 in Avoid Host Duplication When Upgrading the OT Plugin (this includes upgrade of OT plugin to v3.2.1)

  4. Upgrade eyeSight to v9.1.6

  5. Perform steps 4-6 in Avoid Host Duplication When Upgrading the OT Plugin
9.1.3, 9.1.5 5.5.x, 5.9.x 3.1.0

  1. (If you are on Command Center v5.5.x) Upgrade Command Center to v5.9.x

  2. (optional) Upgrade Command Center to v5.11

  3. To avoid host duplication after upgrade, perform steps 1-3 in Avoid Host Duplication When Upgrading the OT Plugin (this includes upgrade of OT plugin to v3.2.1)

  4. Upgrade eyeSight to v9.1.6

  5. Perform steps 4-6 in Avoid Host Duplication When Upgrading the OT Plugin

Post-Upgrade Checks

  • If the OT Plugin is in stopped state, start it.

  • Ensure that the existing Command Center configuration is working by checking the Hosts table in Forescout Console.

  • If you want to add another Command Center to the OT plugin, follow the steps in Configure the Operational Technology Connections to the Command Center .

  • Verify that the Operational Technology Plugin communicates successfully with the Command Center.

  • Continue with one of the following options:
    If there are no Integrated Sensors in the previous eyeSight-eyeInspect integration, and you do not need to install Passive Sensor Plugin on Appliances

    No action required.
    If there are no Integrated Sensors in the previous eyeSight-eyeInspect integration, but you need to install Passive Sensor Plugin on Appliances

    Refer to the Passive Sensor Plugin Upgrade Procedure.

    If Integrated Sensors were installed in the previous eyeSight-eyeInspect integration

    		 Refer to the Passive Sensor Plugin Upgrade Procedure.
