Passive Sensor Plugin Upgrade Procedures
Upgrade Integrated Sensors from a previous eyeSight-eyeInspect integration to Passive Sensors in this release.
The Passive Sensor plugin cannot run in parallel with the DPI plugin.
Before you begin:
- The Passive Sensor Plugin version must be compatible with the eyeInspect Command Center version, as listed in the Compatibility Matrix.
- If the Passive Sensor Plugin was previously used with the Operational Technology Plugin, ensure that both plugins are compatible as per the Compatibility Matrix. See Upgrade the Operational Technology Plugin to learn more.
Upgrade Paths
Based on your current eyeSight, eyeInspect Command Center and Passive Sensor plugin versions, follow the appropriate order to upgrade:

You can upgrade to either Passive Sensor Plugin v6.0.1 or v7.0.1.
If you want to upgrade to Passive Sensor Plugin v6.0.1:

Post-Upgrade Checks
After upgrading the Passive Sensor plugin:
- Start the Passive Sensor Plugin if it is not already running. To do this, from the Forescout Console, navigate to Tools > Options > Modules, right click Passive Sensor and click Start.

Verify that the Passive Sensor Plugin communicates successfully with the Command Center. To do this, from the eyeInspect Command Center, navigate to SETTINGS > Sensors Overview and make sure the respective passive sensors are listed in the table. Go to Sensors Overview for more information.
